Rate some new ones.
the Briggs "Come out all Ye Madmen"- I'm really not feeling this one. It took me a while to like "Back to Higher Ground" but eventually I came around and I love it now. I've been giving the new one listen after listen and besides one catchy chorus on a song I can't remember the title of, I just don't think it comes close to Higher Ground.
Mark Lind and the Unloved- Pretty decent. I still think "Death or Jail" is wwaaayyy better but this is a million times better than his crybaby album "Compulsive Fuck Up". Some really great lead guitar from Jeff Morris of Bruisers fame. Also great back up vox from Marc Cannatta (Far From Finished).

I think Come All You Madmen is alright. There are a few really good songs on there, but a lot of the songs are pretty slow. They are slowly growing on me except for The Ship Is Now Sinking. I am having a really hard time with that one. I can't see a lot of those songs being good or fun to see live either.

Whats with their whole ship worship? How many songs total do they have that reference a ship or piratery? A fuckin' lot of em'!! And I also don't get, and I can't remember which song it is, but the one dude sings a verse and it sounds good, then the other dude sings the exact same words but drags each syllable out like he's drunk out of his mind. I don't get it. However, if he was drunk out of his mind when he sang that part than thats cool.
Music just doesn't do it for me anymore. I need that new Falcons record pronto.

I was expecting much more out of them than this. I think some songs are really good, but some I'm not sure if they will grow on me? They prolly will like the last one, but there isn't "that one song" on here where you sit back and say "Holy SHIT! this is fuckin amazing!" And they were the band that I'd expect it from. I don't know where I'll stand on it in the future, but at first couple takes, it's not my favorite.
Maybe I'm being too picky, but I need a record to kick me in the balls like they used to! ie. GC5, Falcons, Oxymoron, Pressure Point, etc. That style of music seems to have died and I forgot to get on board with the newer style. Though I do think Pressure Point's "Resist and Riot" was amazing!

Hudson Falcons "Desire to Burn"- I'm on the first listen now but I think its great. More to come........

No its here, but I just heard about it the other day. I guess it's like a famous punk rock recording studio. I drive by it like everyday and never even noticed it. Rise Against has been here for a couple months recording there.

New Street Dogs is good. It is still growing on me. I'm not sure if it the same caliber as the first three. New Have Heart is good. Not as good as the first one. New Verse could be one of my favorite albums in history. That's right.
I reserve the right to change opinions on all of the above after further listening.

i am digging the new have heart album quite a bit.
also liking some other semi-recent releases from this is hell and killing the dream.
the new terror is way better than the last one.
for those who enjoy cheezeball metal idiocy (which i doubt is very many of you) the new dragonforce is quite subpar.

The new Street Dogs is good, but yeah it doesn't have the same sorta kick the others have. Kind of a slowed down feeling.
Since I'm behind on everything music wise, I just learned of "Everybody Out" a couple months ago...just bought the cd this week and it is one of the best purchases I've made in a long time! I needed a record like this for awhile. Unfortunately its been out for a yr and I'm just slow! But from beginning to end it is awesome!

Not really feeling the new Street Dogs album. Nothing will top Savin Hill or Back to the World for me. They have been on a steady decline in my opinion since BTTW. Still good songs I guess, just don't have the feeling like the old ones do.
I bought the Everybody Out EP on ITunes quite a while back. I remember thinking "I'm really gonna dig these guys after a few listens." I've given it a few more listens. It's good shit but there are parts that I can't stand on it. I don't have the full length but I believe it is the EP plus five or six more songs. The singer of EO is from a band called New Breed I think? When I first heard EO I checked out his old band. That is some pretty good shit.
I still listen to the new Falcons album. I fuckin' love it. There were a couple songs I wasn't big on at first but I like em now.
Dead Town Revival album is fuckin' fantastic. Can't wait for RBD! I think they will rip Yankton to shreds.

New D4 record is pretty good. They've changed up the formula a little bit (You can understand Eric's vocals now, and the tempo has been kicked down.) All in all though, it's pretty good.
It ain't new anymore but the latest Gaslight Anthem is pretty good if you like young dudes ripping off the boss.
The StarFucking Hipsters isn't very good however. You'd think that with the talent from LOC/CV they'd be a lot better, but I guess not.
